Danny – This is good to know. I’ve been down there many times for Oldsmobile parts. But didn’t know they provide this service as well. Their showroom is impressive. Ron From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Behalf Of dplotkin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Gary- Most of those heater valves the big 3 used are made by Ranco and the essential mechanisms are similar. While the kits may now be hard to find the fellas that rebuild them are not. Hemmings lists several. I use Fusick Automotive, a BOP parts supplier with an on site tech who does these valves. He did my 61 Plymouth so he can do yours. Fusick: 860-623-1589 -----Original Message----- I ran into an issue when attempting to repair a leak on the Heater Valve of my 62 300. The number listed on the club website (660-1000) for a napa repair kit is obsolete, and Napa doesn't have a superseding number. Napa's system also doesn't list any that are still on shelves in other stores. I should have done this ten years ago when it first started the leak, but as the car didn't get driven in weather below 70 degrees, it didn't seem necessary. The recent colder weather around Pittsburgh has lit the fire to repair the heating system (defrosters would be nice too). So to my question, does anyone have a lead on where else the repair kits are available? -- Gary O.
